As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and providing tailored insurance solutions. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, explain policy options, and close sales while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and marketing campaigns
- Consult with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate policies
- Present and explain insurance policy options (auto, home, life, Farm, Crop, etc)
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to team goals
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
- Stay updated on industry trends and product offerings
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing questions and claims assistance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid state insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
