Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed massage therapist to focus on our male clientele at our Noblesville barbershop! We have a big Clientele that come in for haircuts and grooming that are very interested in massage. The clientele is professional we run a clean high end shop!
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions using techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time
- Stay updated on the latest massage therapy practices, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to client care
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and occupational health standards to ensure client and staff safety
- Promote a welcoming environment that emphasizes excellent patient service and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR and first aid
- Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities listed above
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and recommend appropriate treatments
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and occupational health practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated commitment to patient service excellence and customer care standards

Pay: $30.51 - $36.74 per hour
