We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial spaces, ensuring. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Handle chemical agents safely, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination
- Conduct sanitation procedures for restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, including proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and moving equipment or supplies
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or cleaning, janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures
- Familiarity with heavy lifting practices and safe manual handling methods to prevent injuries
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence in all tasks
