The Tremont Police Department is seeking applicants for a full time police officer position. Applicants should be interested in working for a small community and have a strong focus on community policing. Applicants must be willing to work weekends and be flexible with their schedule.
Applicants must:
*Hold a certificate as a full time Police Officer in the State of Illinois or other state.
Or
*Hold a part time certificate with the ability to pass the 80 hour transition course to become full time certified.
Starting pay $26.00+ an hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
