Atlas Memorial is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Full-Time Removal Technician to join our team.
This position is responsible for the respectful transfer of decedents from hospitals, nursing facilities, residences, medical examiners' offices, and other locations throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire to our funeral homes. This is an on-call position with a guaranteed 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to on-call removal requests.
- Transport decedents with dignity, care, and professionalism.
- Safely operate company vehicles throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
- Accurately complete required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with funeral home staff, healthcare professionals, and families when appropriate.
- Maintain a respectful, compassionate demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Extremely reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable navigating busy cities, including Boston, as well as surrounding areas.
- Quick learner who takes initiative and works independently.
- Compassionate, respectful, and able to remain calm in sensitive situations.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move decedents using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques.
- Availability to work an on-call schedule while maintaining a full-time, 40-hour work week.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
