Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and maintain high-value relationships with physicians, hospital case managers, and community agencies to ensure a consistent referral pipeline.
- Inquiry Management: Act as the primary point of contact for families and providers; conduct professional tours and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Regulatory Oversight: Manage the end-to-end admission process, ensuring all documentation (Pre-admission screenings, PASRR, and financial records) is accurate and compliant.
- Interdisciplinary Leadership: Collaborate daily with Nursing and Finance teams to ensure clinical appropriateness and financial viability for all new residents.
- Data Integrity: Maintain real-time bed availability and manage all entry/census data within the EMR system.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) admissions.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance authorization processes.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure "room-ready" excellence.
