Waconia Dodge Chrysler Jeep is looking for an energetic Parts Advisor Counter Person. This is an opportunity to join an organization with very loyal customers and staff. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who wants a career, not a job. While previous automotive experience is a plus, we are open to training the right individual. This individual would be in charge of assisting our customers with accessorizing their vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Parts Manager with whatever may be needed throughout the day.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assisting all guests with quotes and purchases of Mopar automotive parts.
- Greeting retail guests and assisting them with quotes and sales of Mopar automotive parts.
- Working with technicians to ensure they have the right parts and going to get the necessary parts to assist with the completion of their job.
- Complete Special Order Part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer communicates with the customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to industry.
Job Requirements:
- CDK experience preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive parts sales are preferred.
- Good communication skills with a strong customer service background needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- Attention to detail and the ability to efficiently multitask on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Physical Demands:
Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, walking, pushing, pulling.
