Earl B Feiden Appliance is looking for reliable staff for our warehouse and delivery department. Experience in related fields including carpentry, electricity, plumbing, remodeling, etc. is preferred. We also provide on the job training and skill development with opportunities for advancement to supervisory roles within the department.
As a Delivery and Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products to our customers, while also providing exceptional customer service. This role requires core skills in driving and heavy lifting, along with premium skills in warehouse operations and commercial driving. You will utilize your relevant skills in moving and loading/unloading to facilitate efficient installations. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, your contributions will be vital in enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for reliable service. Responsibilities:
Safely operate 26ft box trucks. Perform preventative maintenance checks on trucks to ensure safe operating conditions (checking fluids, lights, tires, and latches daily)
Using safe lifting techniques, deliver and install all types of major residential appliances (washers/dryers, ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.) to the manufacturer’s specifications.
After installation, testing all appliances in home to verify proper working condition.
Educate customers on proper use and care of the appliance as per the manufacturer’s use and care manuals.
Wipe down appliances and clean/remove all packing materials from the customers’ homes.
Clearly document all steps of the delivery and installation by taking photos and notes in using a dispatch/routing app.
Notify delivery manager of any issues at time of delivery.
Provide quality customer service at all times.
Communicate with office staff to ensure proper coordination on all repairs.
