Summary:
2K General Co. is a central Ohio based commercial construction company with over 20 years of proven success. We are seeking qualified Superintendents with a background in the commercial construction industry. Candidates should be knowledgeable in all aspects of the of the commercial industry.
Position Summary: Directly supervises and coordinates activities of all Subcontractors and 2K Employees. Provides leadership, schedules, coordinates, supervises and ensures the safety and productivity of crews.
Major Responsibilities:
· Works with the Project Manager, subcontractors, owner, etc. to update and modify the schedule throughout the job.
· Communicates and coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers, verbally and in writing. Makes sure they are aware of the schedule. Let’s them know if they are not performing to expectations.
· Stays in budget. Assists in adjusting the budget when needed. Works with Project Manager and estimating department to estimate and project costs throughout the project.
· Coordinates with Project Manager and estimating department to generate and distribute all operations paperwork (daily construction reports, safety meetings, etc).
· Attends all formal job site and 2K company meetings.
· Develops and maintains a good working relationship with Subcontractors and 2K employees.
· Develops new ways to improve project practices.
· Must be willing to supervise projects in the entire state of Ohio.
· Performs all other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:

· Education and/or Experience – High School Diploma (GED equivalent) and 10 years of Construction experience; or the equivalent education and experience.
· Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or board of directors. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with subcontractors, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
· Other – Driver’s License required; OSHA 10 hour and 30 hour preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
