About Us
Welkin Wellness is a clinician-led, fully virtual group practice serving clients across Maryland, DC and Virginia. We believe therapy should feel accessible and affirming. It should reflect the real lived experience of the people we serve. Our clinicians bring a range of specialties from trauma to perinatal mental health to relationship work, all grounded in a client-centered approach.
We're in-network with Aetna and CareFirst BCBS. That means our clients get quality care without financial barriers getting in the way. We handle the operational side of practice: referrals, insurance paneling, scheduling, billing, EHR and marketing. You focus on your clients. We handle the rest. Consultation and peer connection are available but never required. Clinicians are also encouraged to build out offerings that reflect their own interests, whether that's a specialty group, a workshop or a niche focus area.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a clinician who holds an active license in Maryland and at least one additional state (DC and/or Virginia). Applicants without dual licensure will not be considered.
- Active license to practice psychotherapy in Maryland plus DC and/or Virginia (associate or independent)
- A self-starter who works well with minimal oversight and stays highly organized
- Practices with cultural humility and a client-centered lens
- Specialized clinical training or certification such as EMDR, IFS, Gottman Method or PSI (Postpartum Support International) certification a plus
- Experience with specific population specialties such as OCD, eating disorders, personality disorders, DID or bipolar disorder a plus
- Carries malpractice insurance: $1,000,000 per claim / $3,000,000 aggregate
- Has a private, secure and professional virtual workspace already set up with reliable internet
- Able to commit to at least 1 year with Welkin Wellness
- Understanding that insurance credentialing can take up to 2 months
What You'll Do
- Provide psychotherapy via telehealth, completely remote
- Maintain a caseload of at least 20 clients per week
- Complete documentation in the EHR within 48 hours of session
- Collaborate within a supportive, clinician-led environment

- Insurance credentialing (we manage enrollment and renewals)
- HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth platform
- Billing, intake and administrative support
- Optional supervision (associate-level) and case consultation
Compensation
- $50 per session (associate-level license)
- $60 per session (full, independent license)
- 1099 contractor position
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
