Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care in a community pharmacy setting.
- Bill and troubleshoot prescription insurance issues.
- Prepare and package medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication administration.
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
- Use medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience working in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medication preparation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
