Ensures products and materials are safely and efficiently received, transported and placed in their designated locations in a timely manner. This role is responsible for receiving, loading, unloading, storing, and moving raw materials, finished goods and other production-related materials throughout the manufacturing facility and yard.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

Follows safety guidelines and procedures set for this role.

Always wears the assigned PPE and follows the PPE guidelines set by the business.

Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or tool(s) if he/she has not been trained to operate.

Communicates and escalates equipment failure or malfunction to the immediate s the maintenance team immediately.

Inspects the industrial vehicle before using it and reports misfunctions immediately to the immediate supervisor or the maintenance team.

Operates industrial vehicles and equipment following the manufacturing and safety guidelines set by the business.

Transports raw materials, parts, and finished goods to designated areas in a safe and quality manner

Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Moves product and/or materials manually as required.

Receives and accounts for all production materials

Loads and unloads designated trailers and/or route trucks.

Stores and organizes finished goods according to the inventory and production processes.

Maintains all finished goods organized and accessible when working on the yard.

Follows LOTO and OSHA requirements outlined by the EHS department and based on the Standard Operating Procedures for this equipment.

Supports the inventory cycle counts as needed

Performs other duties assigned by the Department Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or a member of the Management Team.
EDUCATION
-
High school diploma or GED desirable but not required.
EXPERIENCE
-
At least 12 months of certification as an Industrial Vehicle Driver.
