Duties
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery from kitchen to front-of-house.
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and supervise team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; perform cash handling duties with integrity.
- Assist in managing budgets, analyzing profit and loss statements, and implementing strategies for revenue growth.
- Support catering events, banquet services, or special functions as needed to enhance guest experiences.
- Participate in interviewing prospective team members and contribute to staff training & development initiatives.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety management practices.
- Expertise in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent team management skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and leadership roles within hospitality or food service industries.
- Deep understanding of inventory control, food production workflows, and kitchen management practices.
- Ability to analyze profit & loss statements and implement cost-control measures effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence across diverse dining formats such as casual dining or hotel restaurants.
- Experience managing shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates and training staff effectively.
- Knowledge of catering operations, banquet services, bar experiences including barista or coffee expertise is a plus.
