The lloyd Kitchen & Bar Prep Team is the backbone of our operation. You possess strong attention to detail and take pride in the quality of your work. Whether you are making guacamole, juicing citrus, making tortillas, or shuttling supplies between our locations, you work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing cleanliness, food safety, or road safety. You are organized, reliable, and ready to support both our culinary and bar teams across all three venues.
What You Will DO!
Functional Responsibilities (Kitchen):
- Accurately follow food preparation processes, including cooking and grilling meats, chopping herbs, dicing, cutting, and slicing vegetables.
- Prepare daily batches of house specialties, including fresh guacamole, salsas, and dressings.
- Learn the masa preparation process to support the initial stages of the tortilla-making process.
- Monitor food levels on the line and adjust food preparation throughout the day based on customer volume.
- Maintain proper food handling and safety standards at all times.
- Properly store foods in designated areas following proper dating, First In First Out (FIFO), and labeling procedures.
Functional Responsibilities (Craft Cocktail Bar Support):
- Prepare fresh-pressed juices and purees for cocktail recipes.
- Produce house-made syrups, shrubs, and infusions according to bar specifications.
- Prep all cocktail garnishes, including precise cutting of citrus wheels, peels, and fresh herbs.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of all bar ingredients to maintain freshness and flavor integrity.
Functional Responsibilities (Logistics & Transportation):
- Safely transport prepared food items, bar ingredients, equipment, and supplies between our three locations.
- Utilize routine inventory systems before and after transfers to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.
- Establish and maintain detailed transfer logs to track what moves between locations.
- Ensure all transported items are properly packed, sealed, and temperature-controlled to uphold safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and comfortably load/unload a vehicle
- One (1) year in a food service environment preferred (experience with inventory is a plus)
