Duties:
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications
Our metal manufacturing company is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our team. You must know how to read prints to determine the measurements of each product and operate the press brake to cut and bend the materials into the shape according to specifications. Once the pieces are done, you will check to make sure they are the correct size and shape. You should have previous experience with press machine operation, whether through steel manufacturing or sheet metal work. Our ideal candidate has several years of experience working with CNC (computer numerical control) equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Read prints from designers and engineers
- Program your machine to fit the design
- Measure the final product to ensure uniformity
- Perform routine maintenance on the machine
Requirements and Qualifications
- Familiarity with Murata Diamond, Cincinnati, Accupress and Safon Press Brake is a plus
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience working with industrial machines
