The Pick-UpDelivery Driver / Lot Porter plays a critical role in supporting daily operations at Outdoor Equipment Co. This position is responsible for the safe transportation of customer and company equipment, maintaining an organized and professional lot appearance, and assisting with general yard and facility needs. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Safely transport customer equipment, parts, and units between OECo locations, customer homes, and vendors.
Load and unload equipment securely using trailers, ramps, straps, and tie-downs.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
Ensure equipment is handled with care to prevent damage.
Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and pick-ups.
Complete required delivery paperwork, checklists, and documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company trucks, trailers, and delivery equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing lot at all times.
Move equipment on the lot to support sales displays, service flow, and deliveries.
Assist with staging new units, trade-ins, and serviced equipment.
Wash, detail, and prep equipment as needed for sale or delivery.
Perform basic yard maintenance tasks (trash removal, snow removal, light landscaping, etc.).
Assist with unloading incoming freight, equipment, and parts shipments.
Support store events, open houses, and special promotions as needed.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus but not required, if applicable).
Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, UTVs, lawn equipment, and related machinery.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50–75 lbs.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Previous experience in delivery, equipment handling, or yard work preferred but not required.
