Medical Technician– RPM | $15/hr | Mon–Fri 8am–5pm | 1099 Contractor

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM Fridays Off

About the Role:
We are hiring a bilingual Medical Technician to support our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). This is a full-time, 1099 contractorrole where you’ll onboard patients to RPM in person, ensure they stay compliant, and serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and our care center team that handles CCM calls and care planning.
Key Responsibilities:Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM):
- Identify eligible patients using the daily clinic schedule and diagnosis codes
- Download the RPM app to the patient’s phone and connect their Bluetooth blood pressure monitor
- Educate patients on how to take their readings (goal: 4x/week)
- Monitor daily compliance and follow up with patients who are missing readings
- Communicate abnormal readings to the clinic staff
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of medical office experience
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable educating patients face-to-face
- Basic tech skills (smartphones, apps, and Bluetooth devices)
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Familiarity with chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
- EMR experience (Athena, Epic, or eClinicalWorks) is a plus
- Able to work independently while following clinic and provider workflows
