Job Summary
We are a local mom-and-pop epoxy flooring company looking to add 2–3 great people to our work family as Epoxy Technicians. No experience required — we are happy to train the right individuals who are motivated, dependable, and ready to learn. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces through expert flooring installation, restoration, and surface preparation. This position will be for maintenance and also installations of numerous types of epoxy flooring. A passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this energetic role.

Position Details
- 1099 Contract Position
- Full-time and Part-time hours available
- Day shift only
- Monday – Friday
- No nights
- Occasional weekends only if rain delays weekday work (never Sundays)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean or near-clean driving record
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on the day
- Ability to pass a drug screen (no alcohol or THC during working hours)
- Availability to communicate with the office throughout the workday
- Responsible for completing paperwork for each appointment
- Comfortable collecting and verifying customer payments when needed
- Respect for customers’ property, company vehicles, tools, and fellow team members
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing concrete or existing flooring to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings.
- Mix and apply epoxy resins accurately according to project specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to install flooring systems, including tile laying, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed.
- Conduct water damage restoration tasks and perform floor care procedures such as buffing and sealing to maintain quality finishes.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment like concrete finishing tools and power tools on construction sites.
- Follow maintenance protocols that will be taught
Experience
- Proven experience in flooring installation, epoxy coating application, or related construction work is most certainly welcomed, but we will train the right folks
- Prior work on construction sites involving concrete finishing, remodeling, or handyman tasks is advantageous but not necessary
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, buffing machines, and other relevant equipment safely and efficiently.
