We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Technician Installer/Service professional to join our team! Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC/R systems to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics for system repairs
- Repair or replace mechanical components such as compressors, fans, motors, valves, and piping— including plumbing and welding tasks when necessary
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting to identify faults quickly and accurately, ensuring minimal downtime for clients
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair work
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions while maintaining professionalism
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a solid understanding of mechanical systems repair and installation processes
- Service technician experience in HVAC or related fields such as appliance repair or property maintenance
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and building automation systems
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with plumbing work related to HVAC systems as well as boiler operation and ammonia refrigeration is preferred
- Ability to use hand tools effectively along with diagnostic equipment like ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by welding skills or experience with equipment repair is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a company vehicle safely at all times
- EPA certification (or equivalent) required for handling refrigerants; knowledge of electrical diagnostics essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients

Pay: $30.89 - $50.00 per hour
