Overview
We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking dishwasher to join our Food & Beverage team at the Cape Girardeau Country Club. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dishwashing areas, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines
- Contribute to catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with cleanup after events
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Assisting with trash removal and kitchen organization
- Supporting kitchen staff as needed during service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with kitchen operations such as bussing, food preparation, or catering enhances your fit for the role
- Experience with hotel or culinary settings can provide valuable insight into high-volume dishwashing and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning procedures ensures compliance with health regulations and quality standards
