The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for multi‑axis machining operations. This role partners with machinists and engineering teams to improve manufacturability, increase productivity, and ensure precision in high‑performance aerospace components.

Develop and maintain CNC programs for 3‑axis, 4‑axis, and 5‑axis machines using Mastercam

Optimize machining processes, including tooling selection, speeds, and feeds for complex materials

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and machining strategies

Perform machining simulations to validate programs and prevent equipment issues

Support process improvements, documentation, and production goals in a high mix/low volume environment

High school diploma or GED
-
6+ years of CNC programming experience using Mastercam software
-
2+ years of experience programming 5‑axis CNC machines
-
Experience selecting tooling and machining complex materials
-
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with cross‑functional teams

Experience with multi‑axis CNC mills and lathes
-
Experience with Okuma or DMG Mori 5‑axis machining centers
-
Experience with Mazak Integrex machines

Experience using ERP systems

Experience using machining simulation software

Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
