Schedule:
Tuesday–Friday 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
No weekends required
Optional Sunday shifts (12 PM – 4 PM) starting in the New Year
Job Summary:
British Swim School of Newton is seeking year-round Swim Instructors for our after-school program at the YMCA Wells Ave location. This is a long-term, meaningful position where you will help children build water safety, confidence, and lifelong swim skills.
Responsibilities:
- Teach small-group swim lessons to ages 3 months–17 years
- Use our gentle, play-based survival swim curriculum
- Encourage students, track progress, and maintain safety
- Interact professionally with families
- Bring positive energy to each shift

Required Qualifications:
- Comfortable in the water
- Friendly, upbeat, and enjoy working with children
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work Tue–Fri 3:30–7:30 PM
- Coachable and eager to learn
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with children
- Swim team or aquatics experience
- CPR/First Aid or Lifeguard background
- Customer service experience
