About the Role:
Prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to nutritional standards and menus developed by our culinary team.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and implement special dietary needs and requests.
Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and waste management.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including entrees, sides, and desserts.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist with food ordering, inventory, and waste management.
Provide support to dietary staff with meal preparation and service.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and nutrition services.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years of experience as a Line Cook or equivalent in a healthcare or food service setting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
