Basso is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to enhance our culinary team. In this role, you will prepare high-quality Italian dishes that delight our guests. Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, you will collaborate closely with the chef and fellow kitchen staff to create an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes from our menu, adhering to recipes and plating standards.

Work multiple stations in the kitchen, including grill, pizza, garmo, sauté, and prep as needed.

Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, making sauces, and preparing ingredients.

Ensure timely food preparation that meets our high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work station.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy hours.

Participate in daily cleaning duties, including equipment, kitchen surfaces, and storage areas.

Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize food waste.
Requirements

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and remain calm under pressure.

Basic understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and safety protocols.
