American MediTransport LLC is a fast growing non-emergency medical transportation company. We are looking for energetic and friendly Professionals with customer care and driving experience. Both Part Time and Full Time positions are available.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating vehicles adapted for disabled people (wheelchair and stretcher passengers)
- Picking up and dropping off passengers
- Following pickup/drop off schedules
- Securing mobility equipment/wheelchairs inside the vehicle
- Maintaining driving and vehicle inspection records
Requirements of a CDL Para-Transit Driver include:
- Medical Examination and drug test pass on an annual basis
- Clean Driving Record, 3 years
- Must be 21 years or older
- CDL (Class A, B or C) with Passenger Endorsement
- No more than 1 conviction in the past 3 years
Vehicle Operators are required to pickup and drop off passengers throughout Albany and Schenectady in a safe, courteous, friendly, and timely manner. Knowledge of the area is preferred.
