When you perform at a high level, you deserve to work alongside people who do the same.What You'll DoAs a Diesel Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty commercial trucks and fleet equipment both in our shop and through mobile service.Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines
- Troubleshoot electrical, emissions, fuel, hydraulic, brake, steering, suspension, driveline, and transmission systems
- Utilize OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and scan tools
- Read and interpret fault codes and diagnostic data
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Verify repairs through inspections and road tests
- Accurately document repair orders and communicate recommendations
- Perform mobile service repairs while representing ACTS professionally
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for technicians who take pride in doing the job right.Ideal candidates have:
- Experience repairing medium- or heavy-duty diesel trucks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with OEM and aftermarket scan tools
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license
