Millwright Requirements:
- 3-4+ years of previous experience as a millwright or with plant equipment required
- Heavy manufacturing experience is a MUST
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing, tool design, fabrication methods and processes.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, electrical applications and metal fabrication
- Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints
- Be able to pass a basic mechanical assessment test

Millwright Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings and hydraulics involved in the manufacturing process
- Undertake preventative maintenance program for equipment
- Competent in all type bearing installations and alignments
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up and repair of equipment and machinery
- Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
