The St. Louis County Public Administrator’s Office seeks a qualified Deputy Public Administrator. This position would be responsible for the daily tasks related to serving as Court-appointed Guardian and/or Conservator for incapacitated and/or disabled individuals under the supervision of the Public Administrator and his Chief Deputy.
The starting salary is $48,048.00 annually depending upon the candidates qualifications as well as budgetary considerations. Manage a caseload of assigned Wards and Protectees.
Visit Wards at their placement and ensure that placement is the least restrictive environment to appropriately meet their needs and level of care.
Prepare and file Guardian Annual Status Reports with the Probate Court.
Provide consent for placement or treatment by phone, email, and fax.
Perform investigative work related to potential assets of the Protectees’ estates, including but not limited to securing real and personal property.
Complete necessary applications and forms on behalf of the Wards and Protectees and ensure all bills are appropriately paid with authorization from the Probate Court.
Maintain contact with Wards, Protectees, and their service providers by timely responding to emails, telephone calls, faxes, and all other correspondence.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
