As a Weekend Home Health Aide & Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to our clients during the weekends. From assisting with activities of daily living to providing companionship and emotional support, your presence will make a significant impact on the well-being of those we serve. Whether you're looking for per diem, PRN, or on-call opportunities, we have flexible options available to fit your schedule.
CNA/HHA RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, including tube feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
CNA/HHA Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospice care, caregiving, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of home care practices and techniques
- Ability to clean and maintain a safe living environment
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
- Experience with tube feeding is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient privacy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
