Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Server. The Server should be responsible for owning the guest experience at their table—menu knowledge, wine and beverage recommendations, order accuracy, pacing, steak knowledge, upselling, and anticipating guest needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive in-person customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Assist with cleaning tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining area to ensure guest comfort
- Handle food safety protocols and proper food handling practices during all stages of service
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is preferred, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS enhances efficiency in order processing
- Experience with food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- A background in hospitality or restaurant environments demonstrates readiness for fast-paced service roles
