Set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment and machining tools to produce precision components to spec.

Interpret blueprints and specifications to fabricate, prototype, modify, and rework parts, fixtures, and assemblies.

Team up with engineers and production to troubleshoot, enhance processes, and drive continuous improvement.

Perform meticulous inspections and measurements to ensure quality and compliance.

Uphold safety, organization, and equipment readiness through routine maintenance and housekeeping.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years in machining/fabrication with hands-on CNC programming experience.

Training as a machining technician, machine operator, or lathe operator (required).

Advanced blueprint reading capability; strong literacy and math skills.

Experience using dial indicators, micrometers, and gauges.

Frequent walking, reaching, and the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Regular climbing of stairs, steps, and ladders; comfortable working on elevated platforms and overhead when needed.

Occasional lifting/moving up to 40 pounds.

Vision requirements include close/distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled areas and, as required, in inclement weather.

Location: Sacramento, CA
Starting hourly rate: $23.40–$31.66. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
