Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues. This role requires proficiency in various automotive systems and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality repairs. Part time position also available.
We have a comfortable and casual environment with a friendly team! Primarily would be working on our dealership vehicles, prepping for sale, once they arrive. Diagnose and fix any issues before they go out for sale.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, focusing on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, and alignment.
- Repair and maintain diesel engines, powertrains, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
- Assist with auto estimating for repair costs and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
- Familiarity with air brakes, shocks & struts, alignment procedures, and general vehicle maintenance practices.
- Experience with automotive electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
