Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily administrative and operational functions of the Human Resources department. This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The HR Coordinator serves as a key resource for the HR team, providing administrative support, facilitating communication, and acting as an essential liaison between Human Resources, employees, and other departments throughout the organization. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional internal customer service are critical to success in this role.
Job Responsibilities

Answer frequently asked questions from associates related to payroll, company policies, benefits, resources, hiring processes, procedures etc.

Responsible for onboarding process including initiating/monitoring background checks, drug screens and I-9s.
- Ensure all associate records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.

Consistently update and track clinical associates’ certifications and licensures through the HRIS system (UKG Ready).

Coordinate and facilitate the HR portion of new hire orientation.

Prepare new hire packets and swag bags, along with equipment tracking (shipping and returns).

Initiate and track new hire HIPAA compliance through the LMS (UKG Ready).
- Assist new hires and current associates with benefit enrollments.
- Complete verifications of employment and assist with unemployment claims.

Leaves of absence administration.

Provide support to the associate separation & offboarding process.
- Gather content for the monthly HR newsletter.
- General support for the HR team and other tasks/projects as assigned.

Associate degree or above in human resources, business administration, or a relevant field.
-
SHRM-CP is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Experience in HRIS, specifically UKG Ready, is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.

Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently while also developing relationships with colleagues and future associates.
