Responsibilities
- Help with all stages of events, from the set up, to working the actual event, to tearing down and cleaning up the event.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation procedures throughout the service area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with setting up banquet spaces according to event specifications and breakdown after events conclude
- Monitor guest needs during events, responding quickly to requests or concerns with a positive attitude
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing and billing purposes
- Follow all food safety management protocols to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Experience working in a restaurant or banquet setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with service standards
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently for order entry and payment processing
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Flexibility to adapt to varying event sizes, schedules, and customer needs
