We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Pharmacy Technician PRN (as needed) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will support pharmacy operations. Duties
- Support medication intake processes by accurately processing prescriptions and verifying patient information
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and ensuring patient comfort
- Maintain precise inventory management of pharmaceuticals, including stock replenishment and expiration checks
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate medication administration and ensure proper documentation
- Uphold medical terminology accuracy in all documentation and communication to ensure clarity and compliance
Requirements
- Valid pharmacy technician license or certification as required by state or local regulations
- Prior experience working in retail pharmacy is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional patient care and service in fast-paced settings
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and patients
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required
