Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency
- Assist in food preparation, including basic food handling and ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness by following strict food safety sanitizing procedures and cleaning protocols
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash transactions and card payments
- Provide friendly, attentive service to all customers, addressing their needs promptly and professionally
- Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and managing food supplies efficiently
- Help operations run smoothly during busy café and pickleball hours
- Learn the basics of CourtReserve, helping customers reserve courts and lessons
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or hospitality background preferred; experience in fine dining or food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on in-person interactions
- Experience with food preparation, serving, and catering is highly desirable
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift weights safely, and perform manual handling tasks effectively
