The Contractor Carrier Recruiting Manager is responsible for recruiting owner operator, independent Carrier, with own LLC and DOT Authority. This individual follows the recruiting and hiring process that includes, interviewing, meeting, phone calls, onboarding and searching for the right candidate for the market needs. This individual consistently utilizes their networks to leverage talent and maintains creativity in the recruiting process. Bilingual a Plus
Recruiter Manager job responsibilities include:
- Enjoys collaborating with a team.
- DOT and MC Compliance and regulation.
- Participate in job fairs, partnership events, and networking events and Social Media
- Is a motivated self starter
- Participate in various programs and projects as assigned
- Build strong relationships with local managers to influence, guide and drive the Contractor Carrier relationship.
- Understand the needs for the market
- Screen candidates through phone screens to learn more about their interest and ensure they are qualified
- Is willing to do what it takes to bring new contractor to the market.
- Is someone who loves to take on challenges
- Loves to innovate, be creative and think outside of the box
Work Experience / Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience in the Last Mile Delivery world.
- Experience managing or supervising staff within the Home Delivery industry preferred - 3PL
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System.
- Workday experience preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel preferred
- Bilingual is a plus #ADM
