Maintenance Technician Job Details
Schedule: 1st and 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: Up to $26.00/hour, based on experience
Location: Florence, KY
Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must interview for the position
- Training or experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Electrical
- Manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- General knowledge of chemical and/or batch manufacturing preferred
- Experience with plant operations and equipment including tanks, mixers, pumps, hoses, valves, and piping preferred
- Forklift trained and licensed preferred
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good verbal, written, and mathematical skills
- Must be able to wear safety glasses, steel toe boots, respirator, and dust mask
- Must have reliable attendance
- Cannot miss work during the first week
- Doctor's note required before 5:00 PM the day of any absence
About the Maintenance Technician Role
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Maintain HVAC systems
- Repair plumbing issues
- Perform carpentry repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks
- Conduct building inspections
- Schedule repairs and maintain maintenance inventory
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Work independently while maintaining quality standards
