About the Position
Our Infant Program serves children from 6 weeks to 18 months in a warm, peaceful environment that emphasizes trust, respect, and responsive caregiving. As an Infant Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside experienced Montessori educators to provide loving care while supporting each child's early development.
Schedule Options
- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide nurturing, responsive care to infants throughout the day.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, naps, and daily routines.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support developmental milestones through purposeful interactions and Montessori principles.
- Work collaboratively with an experienced Montessori Lead Teacher and classroom team.
Qualifications
- Experience working with infants or young children preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to meet Texas childcare licensing requirements.
- Dependable, positive, and professional.
- A genuine love for children and a desire to learn the Montessori philosophy.
