Primary Job Role
Actively participates in all safety initiatives and promotes company culture and policies.
Works with VP of Sales to review and manage new customer leads, qualify accounts and quote retail products accordingly and updates customer's complete account information while developing and maintaining relationships.
Responds to customers promptly and professionally. Identifies project locations and shares sales leads with other sales reps accordingly.
Supports key business initiatives such as developing marketing and sales campaigns to grow all Caterpillar product lines.
Assists customers in a consultative manner to provide best solution while determining urgency, including "Need by Date", and accurately capturing pertinent data through the company CRM systems.
Stays current and maintains knowledge on CAT and other Prime Product Lines, informational resources and training curriculum.
Coordinates with other team members to review specs and bid packages in order to increase the company's overall participation rates. Relays pertinent customer information to management that could impact "Trusted Partner" relationship.
Performs other duties as assigned.
