Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced STRTP Administrator to oversee the operations of a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) serving children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, administration, and the supervision of staff in a residential treatment setting. The Administrator will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, provide leadership to the team, and ensure high-quality care for the clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the STRTP to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Ensure that all staff members adhere to program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and manage staff, including social workers, direct care providers, and other support staff.
- Provide training and ongoing professional development to staff to ensure high standards of care and service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the program operates effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor program quality, including client outcomes, and implement improvements as needed.
- Manage the intake and discharge process for residents, ensuring that appropriate care plans are developed and followed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for residents, staff, and program activities.
- Oversee budget and resource management for the program, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
- Prepare reports for regulatory bodies, funders, and other stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in a related field such as social work, psychology, or behavioral sciences.
- Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Experience:
- A minimum of three years of administrative or supervisory experience in a social work or direct care setting, specifically in a residential care facility with a licensed capacity of six or more.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic residential program or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of California Code of Regulations, Title 22, particularly as it relates to residential care for children and adolescents.
- Certifications:
- Valid California Department of Social Services (CDSS) clearance and background check.
- Clearance to work with children and/or any other relevant certifications as required by state or local regulations.
- Active STRTP Administrator Certification

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software tools.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
