American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel contract in Wichita, KS, with a high-volume behavioral health patient population and night shift schedule.

Every other weekend required

No on-call responsibilities

EMR: Cerner
-
Active RN license in KS or a compact state currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)

TNCC required (renewed every 4 years)
-
NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
-
CPI/MOAB High-Risk training required: online portion must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation

Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Driver's License copy required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Nursing care provided in a high-volume ED with a significant behavioral health patient population

Blue scrubs required

Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible for a reduced pay rate
