Job Duties:
This position reports to the Southern Regional Terminal. Primary job duties include delivery of food, supplies, agricultural commodities and other items to and from warehouses, prison units and departments. Daily functions also include supervising inmate truck drivers during delivery routes and operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) standards and guidelines.

You have a valid Class A Commercial Driver¿s License (CDL) and current Medical Examiner¿s Certificate (MEC).
Graduated from high school or received a GED.
You are knowledgeable of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.

You are detail oriented and proactive in preventing and reporting potential hazards.
You'd be a GREAT fit if:
Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and current Medical Examiner¿s Certificate (MEC).
Graduated from high school or received a GED.
Two years¿ experience operating a CMV and related equipment.
Two years of experience in hauling a combination of loads such as, feed, cattle, heavy equipment, and reefers.
You are detail oriented and proactive in preventing and reporting potential hazards.

Successful completion of the current Texas Department of Criminal Justice freight transportation road test is required and will be scheduled after the interview process.
