Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the Receiving Dock, LTL/TL Shipping Dock, and Material Handling. This role requires a focus on safety, quality, and productivity while fostering a positive, team-oriented workplace. The Warehouse Supervisor must ensure inventory is accurate within their department. The Warehouse Supervisor will collaborate with Department Leads, Distribution Manager, Customer Production Manager, Sr. Operations Manager and Distribution Director to maintain operational standards and drive continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise, train and provide guidance to the Warehouse Team Members.
- Foster a collaborative and professional workplace environment through effective communication and relationship building.
- Maintain employee records, training records and daily timecards.
- Communicates and coordinates daily staffing needs with Department Leads and Managers and staffing agencies.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, address concerns, and share updates.
Warehouse Coordination:
- Oversee unloading, receiving, warehousing, material handling, replenishment and loading.
- Strategic planning of labor, equipment and supplies to meet demand; focus material handling.
- Ensure material handlers are meeting safety, quality and efficiency expectations.
- Collaborate with department managers and leads to ensure proper prioritization of assignments.
Operational Efficiency:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and operational success; dock to stock, unallocated parts, LPH for material handling
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Identify, investigate root cause of inventory issues and drive resolution.
Safety & Compliance:
- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Able and willing to be a forklift certification trainer
- Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operating procedures.
- Train employees in safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Drive a high standard of housekeeping and GMPs.
Employee Development:
- Train and mentor team leads and staff to build skills and encourage professional growth.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.
- Partner with Human Resources and Department Manager on hiring, discipline, and termination decisions as needed.
Inventory Management:
- Ensure timely and accurate scanning of all inventory movements.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels the warehouse.
- Ensure efficient use of resources to reduce waste and optimize storage capacity.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Warehouse, Distribution or Manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of experience with WMS, RF Scanning and ERP software.
- Proven ability to lead effectively by fostering positive experiences and motivating teams.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building mutually beneficial relationships with all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflows efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills for identifying and resolving challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively.
- Excellent mathematical skills with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
- Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly growing and evolving environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to operate basic office equipment efficiently.
Education
- A minimum of a high school, or equivalent work experience.
Physical Requirements
Mobility – Ability to move throughout the production floor, including standing and walking for extended periods.
Lifting & Carrying – Frequently lift or carry materials or equipment up to 35 lbs. Occasionally lift or carry materials or equipment up 55 lbs.
Bending & Reaching – Occasionally required to bend, stoop, or reach to inspect equipment or processes.
Dexterity – Basic hand-eye coordination for handling reports, operating a computer, or adjusting minor equipment settings.
Visual & Auditory Requirements – Must have the ability to observe operations, read reports, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
