What You’ll Do Duties
- Manage daily shipping activities, including order fulfillment, packaging, and dispatching of goods to customers or distribution centers
- Training on safety protocols, and performance monitoring to foster a productive work environment
- Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse distribution workflows, materials handling, and shipping & receiving procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to heavy lifting, forklift operation, and materials handling equipment
- Maintain accurate records of shipments
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, stock replenishment, and order accuracy checks.
- Warehouse distribution experience that emphasizes efficiency in loading/unloading trucks and managing inventory flow. Pay: $17.50 - $21.50 per hour
