Job Summary

This position is scheduled to be open for full time hours by the end of September if not sooner! Paid training hours will be provided before the end of September to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Excellent work ethic is the driving force to a valued employee.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company guidelines
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, efficient manner, fostering a welcoming atmosphere
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, fryers, blenders, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing transactions
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with an assortment of food production tasks such as cooking, cutting, cleaning, portioning, and serving.
- Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food preparation, serving, or cleanup as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; On the job training is available.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper handling techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person
- Experience with POS systems for processing cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing orders
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and food packaging
- Ability to be self sufficient in determining what tasks need to be done and in which order.
- Self motivated to perform the tasks needed to help the store provide excellent service and quality products.
- Willingness to participate in store cleaning duties: washing dishes, maintaining work space organization and cleanliness.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
