Job Summary
The Crew Member is a frontline team member responsible for executing daily lawn maintenance, snow removal, and general field operations with quality, consistency, and professionalism.
This is an entry-level role and the foundation of our company. Crew Members support Right Hands & Crew Leaders in completing routes, maintaining equipment, and delivering a clean, high-quality finished product on every property.
This role sets the standard for work ethic, attitude, and culture in the field while representing Archy's Landscaping on every job site.
Position Details
Position Title: Crew Member Department: Maintenance / Snow Operations
Reports To: Crew Leader
Career Path: Crew Member → Crew Leader → Supervisor → Operations
Role Purpose: This role exists to execute the work in the field for lawn and snow.
Crew Members turn scheduled jobs into completed, high-quality results in the field while supporting the team, maintaining equipment, and delivering a great customer experience.
If this role is weak or missing, production slows down, quality drops, and the customer experience suffers.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Field Work & Daily Execution
Perform all assigned lawn and landscape maintenance tasks including: Mowing grass String trimming Edging sidewalks and curbs Blowing off hard surfaces and cleanup areas General property detailing
Execute work according to company standards with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
2. Snow & Ice Operations (Seasonal)
- Plow snow (when trained and assigned) Shovel sidewalks and entryways Apply ice melt safely and correctly Work long hours during storm events when required
3. Equipment Operation & Care
- Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipment safely Assist with fueling trucks and equipment daily Sharpen and change mower blades (when trained) Help with minor equipment repairs and maintenance Clean and wash equipment regularly Keep trucks and trailers clean, organized, and professional
4. Productivity & Work Ethic
- Show up on time and ready to work every day Maintain a steady, efficient pace throughout the day Minimize downtime between jobs Follow direction from Crew Leaders immediately and accurately
5. Quality Control
- Deliver clean, consistent, high-quality work Pay attention to details (lines, edges, cleanup) Fix mistakes immediately Take pride in every property serviced
6. Safety & Responsibility
- Follow all safety policies and procedures Wear required PPE Be aware of surroundings on job sites and roadways Report any accidents, damage, or unsafe conditions immediately
7. Teamwork & Culture
- Maintain a positive attitude every day Work well with teammates and support the crew Be coachable and open to feedback Help create a strong, professional team environment
8. Customer Interaction
- Be respectful and professional on all job sites Understand you are the face of the company Direct customer questions to the Crew Leader Help protect and enhance the company’s reputation

Role Requirements
- No experience required (experience is a plus) Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly Willingness to learn and work hard Strong attitude and reliability

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
