Position: Medication Technician
Purpose: Administer medications to residents and support them with daily routines to help them feel safe, respected, and well cared for.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months of related experience or equivalent training
- State-required certification
- Senior living experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally in English
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Must pass background check, health screening, and TB test (if applicable)
Essential Duties
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Respond immediately to resident emergencies and provide first aid if needed
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behavior
- Maintain accurate records and follow all shift change procedures
- Keep medication storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with state standards
- Assist residents with daily living needs such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Encourage resident participation in activities and help promote a positive atmosphere
- Support a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
Additional Responsibilities
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and appearance guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of resident, staff, and business information
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a cooperative attitude
- Represent the community in a courteous and respectful manner
- Do not accept gifts or additional payment from residents, vendors, or others

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
