Overview
SouthShore Country Club is seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role supports a variety of food and beverage service areas, including the beverage cart, café, snack shop, and other club outlets as needed.This position is ideal for an employee who takes pride in delivering warm, attentive service and understands the importance of creating a refined and welcoming experience for members and their guests. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, service-minded, and able to adapt to the changing needs of a private club environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide gracious, professional, and attentive service to members and guests at all times
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of hospitality
- Prepare and serve beverages, snacks, and light fare in accordance with club standards
- Operate the beverage cart in a safe, courteous, and professional manner while serving golfers on the course
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked beverage cart, café, and snack shop throughout each shift
- Ensure all service areas are presented in a neat, polished, and member-ready condition
- Process member charges and other forms of payment accurately
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Verify identification and comply with all applicable alcohol service regulations
- Monitor product levels and communicate restocking needs to management in a timely manner
- Support club events, busy service periods, and other food and beverage operations as requested
- Work collaboratively with fellow employees and management to maintain a seamless service experience
Experience
- 3 years experience in upscale hospitality, food and beverage service, café, snack bar, or beverage cart operations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and guest service skills with a professional and positive demeanor
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with members, guests, and fellow employees
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards
- Ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, depending on operational needs
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours
- Valid driver’s license preferred for employees assigned to beverage cart duties
- Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Card required, or ability to obtain upon hire
Schedule:
Full-time or part-time, based on club needs and candidate availability. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Compensation:
Hourly + Tipsill make a difference every day.
