Restorative Mindset & Behavior Institute (RMBI) has multiple openings for LCSW-A (s) to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice.
This role is ideal for clinicians seeking supplemental income, increased flexibility, improved work-life balance, or a transition into a scalable full-time caseload over time.

We having openings for both 1099 part-time or full-time. This is are volume-based opportunities with a clear pathway to a full-time caseload as patient demand and availability increase for those seeking to transition into full-time.
The role also provides in-house clinical supervision for associate-level clinicians within the provider’s discipline, in accordance with North Carolina licensing board requirements.
Position Overview
- Outpatient therapy services (no inpatient, no call)
- Hybrid care model: primarily telehealth with scheduled in-person service days
- Part-time start with optional growth into a full-time caseload
- Volume-based model with scheduling and referral support
- Clinical supervision provided within your licensure discipline

Hybrid / In-Person Expectations
- Primarily telehealth-based services
- Scheduled in-person community-based service days (typically up to 3–4 days per month)
- Willingness to commute up to approximately 1 hour for scheduled in-person days
In-person services are planned in advance and designed to remain predictable and manageable.
Compensation
- $48,000 – $101,000+ annually (based on session volume; no cap on earnings)
- Paid per completed, billable session
This is a volume-based role:
- Part-time providers typically begin with a smaller caseload (e.g., 6–12 patients per week)
- Providers are supported in growing toward a consistent full-time panel
- Earnings increase as patient volume grows
RMBI provides scheduling, referral support, and established patient demand to support consistent caseload growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy using evidence-based approaches
- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in Athenahealth (EHR)
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers and care team
- Provide patient education and support
Qualifications (Required)
- Active North Carolina license: LCSW-A
- Master's level education in clinical social work
- At least 1-2 years experience in outpatient or community mental health
- Ability to independently manage caseload and documentation
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
